Detailed Electric Basic Cycle Service in Bristol , Cycle Safety Assessed & Checked and Cleaned. Please note this is a mechanical only service - any aspect of the gears and brakes is something we can tackle - we don’t take the motors to pieces or reprogram them etc . We know from experience with both hub motors and mid drive designs that great care must be taken even doing seemingly routine jobs on these bikes - the main motor wires and other wiring looms may need to be carefully disconnected or moved to change an inner tube or tyre or clean the gears properly etc - it is for this reason we have to take more time with these bikes and so we do charge more for that and the care that goes into that process.All possible safety adjustments made within confines of existing parts and components every single bolt adjusted tightened. Does Includes replacement brake pads (disc or pads) and gear cables . Cost covers 2hr 15 mins of labour a deep mechanical clean and includes new brake pads and a brake bleed if needed and gear cables - pls supply us with the make model and year we’ll do the rest ! We have worked on e- cargo bikes such as the Tern and others etc as well a wide variety of e-bikes from brands such as Engie, Oxygen - Raleigh - Giant - Trek - Specialized - MyCycle - Carerra - Haibike - Vanmoof - Cowboy and many many others. We are familiar with working around Yamaha, Bosch and Mahle mid drives as well as Bafang mid drives as well as the wide variety of hub motors including that are now out there and established. To reiterate we take great care of your cycle and it’s wiring - minor issues such as magnetic sensors on the cranks etc can be tackled but we do not dissemble the motors there are specialist shops that can do that and. we can signpost you to these if you have a motor or battery issue explicitly.
